From Naturalist Laura:

After a few days of scorching heat today was a wonderful change.  There was a little bit of a dry breeze with clear blue skies and calm seas.  It seems that the northwest corner of Stellwagen Bank has come back to life after a few weeks without a lot of action.  Today we saw humpback whales including  Nine, first seen in 1985, and Valley and her newest calf.  There were a number of other humpbacks and fin whales in the area.  Hopefully, they stick around for a few days!
