From Naturalist Beth:

We had an amazing trip on Stellwagen Bank yesterday! On our way to the Bank we passed by two minke whales, but we started our trip with Valley and her calf. The calf was flipper slapping and rolling around at the surface. It was hard to leave this pair, but there were a few other humpback whales in the area feeding. We found Mogul and Shuffleboard, both whales feeding in the same area. We watched as Mogul surfaced filtering out the salt water he had in his mouth, using his baleen to trap his prey. One of the best trips of the season so far!
