As you make plans for a whale watch tour, you may assume that companies who provide such services are just running a business. We hope you know, having read previous articles, that this is simply not so with Capt. Bill and Son. As mentioned earlier, we work in partnership with ongoing efforts to protect whales and the nearby vast feeding ground that sustains so many species. We also coordinate efforts with others, including other whale watching boats, to provide the stewardship these marine mammals need. So if a humpback happens to become entangled in ropes and buoys, Capt. Bill and Sons, or crews on other whale watching boats, will work together to keep the cetacean in sight until help arrives. Thanks to our captain, crew and the majestic Miss Cape Ann, we can continue to help research and education efforts that target saving endangered species, improving ecosystems and building awareness of the amazing world of whales and other marine mammals.
We hope you'll come on board soon, ready to be part of our research team as you explore the world of whales in Stellwagen Bank or Jeffreys Ledge.
